I came across tonetta in the fall of '08 on youtube. After several months of addictive viewing his account was deleted due to several controversial videos. I would periodically check to see if he popped up somewhere else, until he finally messaged me telling of his return. After captivating the rest of the Lolokaust staff, I got the okay, and asked him for an interview. Here's what he had to say about himself.

Lolokaust: How long have you been performing? Do you use the Tonetta Moniker or go under another name?

Tone: since I was 15 years old, [tone] describes music.

Lolokaust: Every time someone new comes on the scene the music press always try and categorize and pigeonhole an artist, this wont be easy in your case so how would you describe what you do?

Tone: I don't really know i just accept what it is

Lolokaust: Do you collaborate with anyone to make your music?

Tone: no I do it all myself

Lolokaust: Who are your musical influences and is there anyone to whom you aspire to?

Tone: the genius John Lennon

Lolokaust: Is there a scheduled release date for an album of your music or even somewhere this can be downloaded?

Tone: why cant it be done on this account (I'm not a computer whiz)?

Lolokaust: Do you play live? if so Where and When (even if it was just something you used to do)

Tone: I don't play live I'm very shy.

Lolokaust: Is world domination part of your game plan or is the intimate, local, low key scene more your vibe? 

Tone: Just to make my mark.

Lolokaust: When performing your songs you appear to be in character, even dressing up. Are these actual characters you become when you are performing or just costumes to make the performances more interesting?

Tone: Just to make things interesting

Lolokaust: There are many references to the male member in your lyrics, is this something particularly close to your heart?

Tone: I'm simply promoting it.

Lolokaust: Many of the songs are about sexual deviancy, Would you consider yourself a Sexual Deviant?

Tone: Yes I am.

Lolokaust: You have had incidents with Youtube deleting your videos/accounts, What are your thoughts on Internet Censorship?

Tone: Makes no sense

Lolokaust: If you had to change one thing about the world what would it be?

Tone: I'd make the poor rich and the rich poor and give them a taste of poverty.

Lolokaust: Is there anything you'd like to add?

Tone: My music is my life, without it I may as well be dead!
